We're "probably" going but have to figure out if our solar and batteries are up to what it should be. We haven't used for a long, long time.

Hi Freddy and Delcie,

We are just across from where you were parked at Pilot Knob last year. We were wondering whether you are coming here. We would love to get together.

  • 4 weeks later...

So here we are at Timber Valley SKP in Sutherlin, Oregon. We see on the tv this morning that we just made it over the mountain passes. Both Siskiyou Pass and Grants Pass are chains only. One could argue that we would have been better if we on the California side in the sunshine but we do have to get back. There seems to be a break in the weather up there come Thursday so we will leave here Friday, have one overnight at Tulalup casino and then back on Saturday.

We are warm and dry and having lots of down time.

You would have more class if you would quit hanging around Jeri. haha (If she wasn't my twin, she would get mad at me.) Enjoyed our short visit the other day. Got another bottle of that baaaaaad whisky for when we meet again.

I was going to say you aren't class-less. You're all class. However, can't say the same about Jerry ............. Of course, I'm joking. He has class too but he got it all from hanging around with me. :)

Jerry has glass. He pours that whiskey into it. Oh, you said "class". Never mind.

(This sounded to me like something Lee would have said. I miss him.)

I don't think Lee will ever be forgotten by his friends. As we travel around the country, we are constantly reminded of things Lee told us and things he could have told us if he was still here. Linda-Thanks for defending me, I normally use a mason jar but I do have a glass.

We are almost there. We got through both Portland and Seattle without any problems. Lots and lots of traffic but smooth sailing. 3 hours tomorrow and we are back in Canada.

That's a good way to get through cities. Glad it went well for you.
