Alternative to Street Atlas?

I miss Street Atlas. I've tried Google maps. Great for some things, but not trip planning. I can't figure out Escapees mapping. It seems too focused on its discount parks. Any suggestions?

I like the good sams trip planner.

I am in a somewhat similar situation. Still using Streets and Trips even though it is no longer updated by Microsoft. I can however still update the data sets for campgrounds and other points of interest.

I have downloaded Garmin Basecamp and figured out how to import the map from the GPS. I am still trying to figure out how to get all the POI data sets to show in the route planner.

It is much easier to install the maps into your computer once than always loading them from the GPS. There is a option to do that in Garmin Express. In Express click on your device (it may need to be connected), click on "Map Options", then "Install to Computer". If you have already used the computer to install the maps to the GPS the process doesn't need to re-download the maps.

All BaseCamp users should always use Garmin Express and select the Map Option to install the new Maps the the GPS and the Computer. That way they are always the same. And don't forget to uninstall the previous maps when all is working with the new maps.

I like CoPilot for navigation. I use it on a tablet.

I use CoPilot on my iPad Air.
Still use S&T to plan on. I put all start & stops, fuel stops etc in favorites on the iPad.

iPad is mounted on drivers side window & Laptop with S&T running on table beside drivers seat.

When they disagree on which way to go. I decide what is best. :)

Jack, are you using the truck or RV version?  Also can you add stops such as a rest stop or Walmart as waypoints?

We use the RV version...the truck one consts significantly more. IMO it is not as good as Street Atlas, but close.....and some of the things I like better. I've never tried importing waypoints.....
