Seattle parking this summer

Wouldn't we all.  There are none.  Best you can do for Queen Ann Hill is Lake Pleasant in Bothell - if they have an opening.  It is $44/night there.  Or try Lakeside in Everett - easy access to I-5, but traffic will be horrible going in in the morning.

I'm not familiar with the area but this is what I came up with by Googling and I don't know how close these are to where you need to be:

Halcyon Mobile Home - 12234 Stone Ave. N, Seattle 206-364-7631 This looks like it's around I-5 and 130th St., Northgate Mall area

Westbury RV & Mobile Home Park, Lynwood, 15905 Hwy 99 425-741-3341

Twin Cedars RV, 17826 WA-99, Lynnwood 425-742-5540

Trailer Lane Trailer Park, 23515 WA-99, Edmunds, WA

(3) in Everett which might be too far: Maple Grove RV, Lakeside RV & Harbour Point

Might I suggest researching ELKS Lodges and FOE Eagles? They often have facilities with camping in cities. I looked some time back for the Seattle area and there were lots of choices but not necessarily right downtown.

We have camped at many Lodges around the country including one right on Main Street in Colorado Junction, one very close to the center Annapolis MD, one in the heart of Tallahassee FL and they are very hospitable to fellow ELKS.

One of the best decisions I made was to join the ELKS before we went full time. You can locate your local Lodge online and go ring the door bell during normal lodge hours (Which vary from Lodge to Lodge). They are always looking for new members, so are the Eagles.

Other organizations such as VFW, American Legion, Moose Lodges also have facilities at some locations.

There is an Elks lodge in Ballard but they are issuing parking permits for members so parking may be restricted.  I prefer parking at the casino across Puget Sound taking the Bainbridge ferry and then walking or public transit around the city.  The casino has a free shuttle to the ferry and there is bus service as well.

Jim,

There is a park, just pass the Casino in Poulsbo, http://eagletreerv.com/  This is not a bad commute to the city, a short bus ride to the Ferry and a 30 min crossing into the city. I lived on Bainbridge Island for a few years while stationed in Seattle, great commute. There also is a KOA south of Rentham. One more option if no hookups needed is https://biparks.org/fay-bainbridge-park-campground/ In the city of Seattle proper would be impossible to find anyplace. Many a run down old jalopy RV's are being utilized by people as homes and they park all over the city giving RV'ing a bad name in this area.

It's further out but we stayed at a county park in Carnation called Tolt-McDonald Park - it's beautiful and very quiet.  Easy ride to the Issaquah Train/bus terminal.  Wasn't expensive either (by Seattle standards) $35 a night w/hookups or $25 without.

If you don't have to be in the Seattle area every day (don't know if you will have a job there, or whatever), this is the very best option. You'll have much better surroundings to stay and cheaper than in Seattle. We've stayed many times at the Escapee park in Chimacum, WA, drove our car to the ferry parking lot (you can also take your car with you) and took the fast, pleasant ferry which lets you off at the Aquarium area. It's a short walk to Pikes Place market and also you can get on the monorail nearby to take you for a ride over the city to the Space Needle area. It makes for a very nice long day trip.

Thanks you all. I am an Elk, so will pursue that. Will also follow up on MH parks. I have some time. Wife is going to a get together with a group of high school friends (what's 50 plus years). So proximity is an issue, but you can't do what you can't do.
