JPL Posted June 23, 2017 Report Share Posted June 23, 2017 I tow with a old 98 610 Volvo.I usually fill up when unhooked. that way we can ck on the net and find the cheapest fuel. We will be going to Abk NM for the Balloon Fest in Oct and I'll use a fuel window between 14&1600 miles. Hope to do it on 4 fuel ups but I may need a 5th stop to be safe. Our planed route looks to be about 5600 miles. About 8 weeks on the road. Run west on 40 and back east on the southern route. Will stop to visit friends and old shipmates. When hooked to our 43' Mesa Ridge we are 67". So if I had to fuel hooked up I will use the truck pumps as quickly as I can.
