I need a way to trace coax cable thru our rig.  Something I can hook/plug to one of the outside connections and see where it feeds.

Our Carrilite came with a "Box of Many Buttons" that has rattling parts inside.  We use a portable dish most of the time but cannot feed it to the front bedroom TV.  Add the Blue Ray/DVD player, over the air antenna, and cables that come from the roof to the mix and it's a coax nightmare in the TV cabinet.  The area to work in is big enough for 2 hands if you hold the flashlight in your mouth.

Suggestions for a tracer of some sort?

A headlamp would keep you from drooling on those wires. I love the way it always points right to where I'm looking.
