The Volvo engineers built some fairly aggressive fiberglass, which I always felt was wasted by the basic box bed. Are the tail lights F-Series? The use of OEM tail lights from another make and model is a great custom touch and hearkens back to old-school geezer custom..... not often seen that much these days.......very nice touch. IF I ever get the time away from my mom-n-laws memory-loss / financial exploitation recovery I hope to take some time to recover the Dollytrolley from it's present 'worst-in-class-rat--truck" present state.......but with a 20 ft box it will take some pretty big tail light to do the trick.... Have you considered installing the bed with a tilt up for access to the drive train? IF I ever get around to it I will likely make the Trolly cargo tilt for geezer access to the drive train and for better loading angle for the low slung Vette loading into the cargo box. Tilt might be more trouble and expense....... but might be something to ponder......... Without those, we could not have done the rear that way. Not everyone would want pullout drawers back there, but a standard door can be used as well. All the doors are flush-fit with automotive bulb seals. Jack & Danielle Mayer #60376 Lifetime Member Living on the road since 2000PLEASE no PM's. We are trying it out with just the powder coat. It is very hard and we want to see how it performs for the wheel lining. But we will add bedliner if anyone wants it. And may add it to this one later. We are also considering 1/4" aluminum liners. Jack & Danielle Mayer #60376 Lifetime Member Living on the road since 2000PLEASE no PM's. I tried powder coating steel years ago and gave up. Powder coating is a great coating but it has limitation on where it can be applied ( like butt joints, the open end of pipe/tube and lap seams) since it is a powder that is "dusted" on. The worst issue was paint chips and the subsequent rust. It was a job to keep on top of. Why not make the whole thing out of aluminum or a steel frame with aluminum boxes and deck bolted on. With alum holes can be drilled at any time with out any issue of rust. The fabrication is soooooo much easier/ faster/ cleaner. The best part it is easy to CNC as shown hear with the foot boards and back grab handles. Edit: One of the polyethylene products like Starboard or Seaboard or rubber belting would also work to line the wheel wells. 2011 Cameo 34SB3
