The "mirror" (monitor) is located inside the cab. The autopilot on my 12 ton sailboat would lose it's mind anywhere near a big metal bridge... Bay Bridge, GG Bridge no matter, once the spoked wooden wheel had me pinned to the cockpit seat and I could not reach the kill switch.... it only had one job.
