Camp Chef stove

 Do any of you carry around a Camp Chef system with you? I'm pondering the idea of switching from our Green Mountain Davy Crocket pellet grill to a single burner Camp Chef and a grill box and griddle. Diane isn't much into smoked meat so the Pellet grill just isn't cutting it for us it seems. Even though I tell her that if I cook above 250 or 300 degrees it's not smoking she still says she tastes the smoke flavor. It's a mental thing I thing....SHHHHHHHHH don't tell her I said that!!!

We traveled with the Camp Chef 3 burner stove, grill box and griddle, for 10 years, great in areas where we set up an outdoor  kitchen and had the family  along. Our grill box covered   2 burners, and I could do a pizza in it and did manage to smoke  a brisket once, but  hard to control temperature .

Late to this, but we just added a two burner Camp Chef to our gear. Even though the weather and location have limited our use, we love it. On Saturday alone, we canned a batch of rhubarb jam, cooked up a batch of French toast and made sausage and pepper sandwiches. Great fun, way easier than working other on our charcoal grill or in our kitchen. We got a single burner griddle as the only accessory for now. For two of us it seems to be working very well.

We have the Camp Chef Mountain series and it does work for us.  We have the griddle we throw on the burners for grilling and I can cook up a great breakfast, lunch or dinner with it..  We also have a small charcoal grill (12" in diameter) we use sometimes.  Good luck!

Love our Camp Chef two burner.  Added the adjustable feet and the carry bag.  Very sturdy and efficient outside setup for us.  Bought the extension hose and hook it directly to our outside quick connect using the onboard propane.

 I guess I should touch back on this. First off thanks for all of the comments!! We did sell the Green Mountain smoker grill and purchased a Camp Chef PRO 60x 2 burner and bought a BBQ box and griddle and so far I'm in love with it. I love the folding legs with built in levelers and the 2 side shelves to begin with BUT the griddle is my new favorite friend when it comes to cooking. 

 When we get to our winter location I plan to buy a double griddle as well. I cook almost everything on the griddle.

 I did look at the Blackstone tailgater version but felt the Camp Chef 60x pro was a better fir for me. If I were thinking about a unit to sit on the patio I might have made a different choice, not sure.
