I ran Goodyear G670's on our coach that had them and had excellent service from them. I prefer one of the tires that are specially compounded for RV use. Michelin also makes the XRV series for motorhome use. Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... It would be the lowest cost option of the FMCA tires available. The ST230 is a solid tire, while not quite as energy efficient as some of the new tire models available. Hankook AH11 and AH12 (Depending on tire size.), would be at lower price point then the FMCA prices of even the ST230. And many RV owners are very pleased with the performance of these tires. We went with the Michelin XZA2 this time around, good riding, and energy efficient. Be sure to work with your tire dealer on ensuring our Born On Dates are under 6 months of age, as a condition of purchase. (Some know us RV'er's want this, as we don't wear out tires by miles, we change them out by age, and are happy toward with you on this. Other dealers just want to push the stock on hand, and not be bothered, and of course will tell you warranty starts on the day of install (True.). We have found a wonderful Les Scwhab dealer in Sutherlin, Oregon who does lots of business and can get fresh tires (less than 3 months old) in a couple of days. Plus no sales tax in Oregon! We want to go to Alaska and take the BC Ferry up but would like to get new tires before going and would rather get them just prior to going. He can handle 22.5" tires? Do you know if he can do an alignment also? We have never been to a Les Schwab so we need some info before we commit to going to him as we live on the east coast. And yes, they have a covered area and slide 'lifts' under coach, off with the old, on with the new and you are on your way. (514)-459-2270.
