RV_
Yep, That would be the local center here, Overton Brooks VA medical center. I stopped going several years ago but I think I will need to go back and get them to correct numerous errors. I thought they were OK until I realized that they have little empires in each department with their own rules. I am glad I am retired and not dependent on them. They are hot and cold with little consistency. RV/Derekhttp://www.rvroadie.com Email on the bottom of my website page.Retired AF 1971-1998 When you see a worthy man, endeavor to emulate him. wildmandmc
I have been at a few different VA Medical Centers. Best So far is one in Providence RI. Went there for about 24 yrs,. Almost no problems at all. Moved to FLA In Lee county, Original One My Dr was great. Rest waste of my time an Tax dollars. Then they built a new one in Cape Coral. So many Dept Heads Walk around with there Head up there @@@. An then there is one supervisor of most of the Facility, Total waste of anything, I see him a lot walking around just having Coffee Shop Conversations, Nothing Related to VA. I asked about him few times to a few desk clerks they all knew who i was talking about before i even said anything. 2000 Itasca Horizon DP (Got Total During Irma). teacher's pet
I'm not a vet and user of the VA, but have followed the various problems with interest. I went to the link at AOL and then to the link from there to the story at USAToday which in part states the following: "But rather than being put on leave pending further investigation, Toby Mathew was transferred to another VA job in Mississippi, a post at a regional VA office that oversees medical centers in four states, including Louisiana, where he will work on special projects. The VA said in a statement that the reassignment is temporary and that Mathew is working in a non-supervisory capacity until the agency’s investigation is finalized." Sounds like my last employer, a plant area supervisor would be moved to an engineering office, "counting the holes in ceiling tile" until upper management completed a "brief study" prior to moving them out the door. Hopefully that is the case here. Teacher's Pet '06 40' Phaeton QSH 350 Cat. Pieere
I believe some get complacent after they find out the loopholes they can dive through!! Like the military its best to let them work it from the Top Down. Chain of Command usually didn't work the way it was supposed to! Living Life One Day At A Time!
