We were at a visitor center in Coldfoot AK, on the Dalton Hwy and a ranger came by and asked those of us in there if we would like to join the staff in 3 or 5 minutes of silence in honor of our veterans. We happily joined everyone at the flag pole. Although the paperwork was not completed (Treaty of Versailles) and formally signed until the following January, the cease fire was more or less the 11/11 date at the eleventh hour (11AM).
