Plan now! 57th Escapade, Tucson, AZ

Recommended Posts

It looks like the cost for one day without overnight parking $30.00 a person?

You are correct about the price but you really won't get much of the experience in just a single day. You can visit the market place and "the row" and look over the RVs on display but there are more than 70 different seminars and so your preferred ones may be on a different day than you happen to be there. You might want to watch the Escapade website for the list of seminars as it will be posted once all of the presenters are locked in and such and then pick the day based upon what you wish to attend.

Looking for any recommendations for a campground with full hook ups near the fairgrounds. Requiring site big enough for a 38' class A with toad. We are not familiar with the area so, we won't be registering until we find a place to stay.

The fairgrounds has room for your size rig. I was there two years ago, didnt stay at the fairgrounds though, but certainly could have. Lots of 45' MHs, HDT with long 5ers, MDTs with long 5ers, etc. Well layed out and seems to be a fun area.

All of the full hookup sites have been reserved on the grounds of Escapade but there are ample dry camping sites. For those who want hookups, there are parks nearby but I've not stayed in any of them recently. I suggest you start with RV Park Reviews, but hopefully some others who have stayed in Tucson will join in.

BuddysPapa,

We've personally stayed at this park... http://koa.com/campgrounds/tucson-lazydays/ ... which, according to my map is 2.5 miles from the fairgounds. We really enjoyed the park and they had all the amenities as well as super nice staff.

I hope that helps and that we get to see you at Escapade 2017.

The suggestion above for Adventure Bound Resort in Tucson is a good one. It's on Houghton Road and very close to Pima County Fairground. Looked very nice when we were there and should accomodate any rig size. Voyager RV Resort was another good suggestion above; it's quite nice and located nearby as well. Monthly rates are reasonable but nightly stays are a bit pricey, as is the norm for the location/season. It's a perfect time to explore Tucson.

The temps in late March are normally very pleasant. Could be cool or could be warm, but normally not uncomfortable either way that time of year in Tucson. Hope you can work it out!
