mr. cob
I'll get my order done in the next few days..... Howdy Jack, Thanks for participating in this group buy. I am hoping enough folks take advantage of this to fulfill the agreement Smart Madness made with us, if five people order the cruise control they may be interested in making discounts available to us in the future on other products of interest. Brad & Jacolyn
Dave, Print off the installation instructions from the website and study them a bit. It is pretty easy and plug and play. Or wait for the rally and we will get it done. (You will still need the instructions). Or wait for the rally and we will get it done. (You will still need the instructions). Brad Howdy Brad, Just as a demonstration of how inept my commuter skills truly are, I have been trying for the last month that I have been interested in this unit to figure out "how" to down load the installation instructions and have failed miserably at it. I found the PDF < http://smartmadness.com/pdf/CruiseControlV7-04.12.11.pdf > on line and have NOT been able to read it or down load it. For some reason my computer, I an using a Mac as I can crash a pc by simply walking within ten feet of one, will not open the page, I have tried repeatedly and get nothing, on my computer search dialog box or whatever you call it, it shows "about blank" but it displays nothing on the screen My computer expertise is known through out and all over the world, on the ADV-Rider website if you type this, :cob, it comes up with a smiley that shows a guy typing at his computer and then a fist comes out of the screen and smacks him, I was awarded that smiley back in 2001 as an expression of ADV-RIder's appreciation of my vast cyber skills. For someone such as I whose present life style depends on a computer my inability to use one is an embarrassing and crying shame. If it has anything to do with electricity, electronics or electrons, I am the LAST person to be involved in the project or to ask advise from. "A man has to know his limitations." Words I take to heart and live by. Dave 2001 Peterbilt, 379, Known As "Semi-Sane II", towing a 2014 Voltage 3818, 45 foot long toy hauler crammed full of motorcycles of all types. rdickinson
OK, that's too far. I'm going to the fair in Lynden Thursday, thought we could meet for a coffee. My rig will be left in Abbotsford to save border hassles. Then off to the interior again.

Howdy Roger, Do they still have the lawn mower races in Lynden, if so do you know if they will be racing on Thursday? If they are racing the lawn mowers on Thursday I might take the Smart Car up there just to watch a few laps, and if I am up there meeting for a coffee sounds good. Keep me in mind and let me know whats happening I am bored and don't have much else to do. rdickinson
The plan is to leave Victoria on the 4pm ferry to Vancouver to get the cheaper ferry fare, roughly half. Head to Abbotsford, bunk there the night then cross the Border and go to the Fair Thursday. Fair starts at 11 am I think. The rig will be left at the RV park and I'll run to the Fair in the Smart car. There is another Fair in Puyallup in September so I plan to hit that one as well. Blackberry pie with ice cream, cob of corn on a stick.....forget I mentioned them. If you bring the Rig, there is a KOA fairly close with room available as of last night. $48 night with power. https://www.google.ca/#q=nw+washington+fair+and+event+center Here is a link to the Fair itself. If you don't find what you are looking for, phone them. R
