Shoot me either and I'll see if I can help out, most of my Linux experience is CENTOS (RedHat) or OpenSuse and I usually use KDE for my desktop but I'll take a shot at other topics. First rule of computer consulting: Sell a customer a Linux computer and you'll eat for a day. Sell a customer a Windows computer and you'll eat for a lifetime.
