Joe, if you are crossing over to get your Bad Whiskey supplies, please let us know. We would love to see you. This depressing stuff gets depressing.

Hey Toni,

Aside from everything else going on for you guys, the weather sure hasn't been helping. I am sure that Jeff is telling Tall Tales about where he has been hiding out lately as it hasn't stopped raining here on the coast since yesterday morning. Oh well we just put on rain gear and took a 2 hour walk on the beach anyway. Sharon found some really nice Agates and I got a few good pictures. Then spent the rest of the day in Sweats here in front of the Fireplace. Sure is going to be hard to leave this morning, but Duty calls back home.

It would be good to meet up, but I no longer go to Canada for my Wine Supplies. A couple of years back the company decided to shut down their Retail Store there on Annicis Island, so I'm stuck with paying the much higher prices down here locally. That said, Sharon and I have talked about going up to check out a couple of places we have heard about. Lee Valley and Nomad Homes. One a Wood Workers Supply store the other a Modular Home Builder that we saw on Extreme Homes. However it is just in the talking stages right now.

Wow, what a nightmare getting the Ice Cream Machine cleaned up and hidden again. But now I know where it's at and can visit it from time to time.

Back home on windy Whidbey Island, just contemplating what kind of mischief I can get into, or stir up, around here now. Since it's not raining RIGHT NOW, I guess Jeff must be back down south with all the rest of you guys.

Been a pretty rough morning, having coffee and all, and it's a bit early for any of that Baaaaaad Whiskey, so guess I'll just have to settle for taking a Stevezzzzzzzzzz

Yup, the new change is going to take some getting used to, so far I'm not a fan.

Yes, getting a little to warm down here for my liking, it will be time to make a move soon and with luck someplace a few degree's cooler. Don't know where yet but we have almost 2 weeks before we need to move so we have time to figure that out.

Thanks, Dave. I thought before before the update there were around 350 pages or so on this thread. I'm not going to go back to the beginning and reread them all to see if there are any gaps. LOL.

Well it sure looks like the new format has done more to kill these forums than anything else ever has.  Postings are way down and these pages have had nothing for several days.  Funny, but I visit another forum that is hosted by the same folks as this one and there hasn't been any changes to it.  Just my .02

I woke up and the forum changed   whaaaaaat!!!   Oh well, maybe the old dog can change once again  sigh!

Nice day here at the Elks club in Prescott Valley.  76 degrees and a light breeze, so that I can handle. We are on our way back to Oklahoma, but we always have to stop here and see Carol's three cousins on the way.  Neat town (both the old and new parts) and a great bike trail by the lake. The Elks is full now, but we managed to get one of the last full hook up spots available.  Now we have to get ready for a big poker game at the cousin's place this evening.  I'd better rat hole a little diesel money before I go       Happy Travels    Steve

Survived the annual poker game with Carol's cousins.  Next thing on the agenda was the grand kids fix.  Headed back to Oklahoma.  We stopped in Gallup New Mexico at the big casino (Fire Rock) there for the first night.  They have two huge parking lots and only one of them is used for the gamblers.  The other one is quiet and has plenty of room to maneuver.  Then on to Clines Corners for the second night.  They have a separate lot for rvs so the trucks don't bother you at all.  Next day (yesterday) we decided to make it the rest of the way to Norman Oklahoma.  500 miles, and the wind blew all the way, but we made it at about 6:30 last night.  We managed to get a 50A /water hook up at the fairgrounds, but were feeling a little bad we couldn't get a full hook-up spot.  However, this morning they said we could drain our gray water right behind us.  That will work!!  I'm taking the day off today, so no-body come here with any projects!!  Steve

It's time to move on toward Texas today. It's been great to see everyone again in Arizona. We recently spent time with Jeri and Terry also Freddy and Delcie at Escapade in Tucson. Yesterday alone we had brunch at Tom and Dianne's with Roger and Lynn, Also got a tour of Dave and Nancy's new house just down the street. It's time to get to Texas to get ready for this summer's adventures.

Travel safe everyone.

We just heard on the television all the way up here that you have already sent the inclement weather to Texas.  :o  Travel safely.

That's because you sent it to the Oregon Coast.  We had to spend ALL day inside just watching the rain and the waves as they crashed on the rocks just below our balcony here in Depot Bay today.  I told Sharon that it was Jeff's fault.

Blame me for rain but don't blame me for other weather like tornado's, hurricanes, blizzards, etc.    Joe wet, gray, drizzle, and rain has been our experience with the Oregon coast during our 2 visits there. Not sure we ever saw the sun shine while we were on the coast. Stay dry.

Travel safe everyone.

Hey Jeff,

Well that's because the sun never shines on the Oregon Coast.  Well except for us folk that live in the PNW, Sun is shining right now and it is BEAUTIFUL out there.  Going to be a really pretty day here today.  I'd post a picture, but everyone would think it was Photo shopped.:D

I may have posted this in the past. On our first trip to Oregon our daughter found a t-shirt that said, "In Oregon you don't tan. You rust."

Linda

I've seen those t-shirts too.  However, Oregon does have a summer with very little rain. The problem is people don't always visit during the right time of year.  Summer doesn't start until late June or early July in the PNW running usually through the end of September.  I said usually because this year has not been usual anywhere.

So, June 9th in Bend shouldn't be too bad?

We've got from now till then to get there...any suggestions for stops along the way?

It'll probably rain hard, thunder, lightening, tornadoes and hail.  How's that for a forecast?   :) Bend is east of the Cascades so different weather patterns.  However, it should be nice but might not with all the strange weather up there this year.  My forecast is maybe nice and maybe not.  Do I sound like a weather professional?

We're going north via California/Oregon coast.  Lots of routes depending on how you go but you already know that.  How you heading north?

Did I read that wrong?  YOU have no plans?  Well, what about this.  WE do have plans.  However, you might guess that have plans but no reservations.  We're mostly winging it but what else is new.  I can't believe YOU don't have reservations.  When you heading north?

WHAT!!! Has hell frozen over??? Are pigs now flying??? Come on Roger, you really do have plans right?? It should be nice in the Bend area in June. We plan to stop in La Pine just outside of Bend towards the end of April before heading to Grants Pass.
