Want to meet our hosts from Monck Park. They host at Borrego Springs State Park. He is a doofus but she is great.

 

We had plans to go the Escapade in Tucson but now we have to go back early for my Dad. We have never been to an Escapade and I guess not this year either.

Our "plan" is to leave Indio and go to Borrego Springs for a week or so tomorrow. After that Yuma then Phoenix just before Christmas for a couple of weeks. Then to the desert.

 

Anyone going to do Escapade in Tucson? Guess there are only boondocking spaces left.

Right now the plan is to go to Escapade, maybe. I know there were a couple others thinking about it including Freddy. We've not been able to really make too many plans out of this area. Terry's mom has had a few more issues. Plus with Justin's dog, we aren't quite as free as we had been. Justin may be deployed to the Persian Gulf (again) in January. If not, he's talking about flying out to Phoenix for a few days in January. We don't know a thing yet.

 

Let's get together when you get this way over the Christmas holiday ... maybe we can have our own Christmas party!

I was thinking maybe a Christmas get together or lunch since so many will be in the area the week before. Right now I probably won't be going to the PNW for Christmas. Terry may fly up a day or two before and back the day after. I need someone to transport all the packages we've wrapped and it's cheaper for him to fly up with them than to mail them!!

Just pulled into Yuma yesterday... next is Maricopa, AZ 10-13, fly to NC to see our daughter graduate till the 19th, then Gold Canyon for a week till xmas and move on over to Mesa on the 26th Dec fro a month.

Got in late yesterday - have to take Katie (our daughter is with us) to the phoenix airport tomorrow so we may swing by later today so she can say hi to Lilly. We leave Thursday morning and fly out to North Carolina to watch her graduate from Physical Therapy School so we are busy eating everything in our fridge so nothing spoils while we are gone to NC for 5 days.

We arrived in Tucson at noon. Easy, easy drive. We are at Casino Del Sol for the next five days. Beautiful sunny day, and warm.

 

There are more rigs here than we have seen in four years but we are later than usual.

I just got an email for your post....maybe check your settings? I'd even try unchecking the box and rechecking. Sometimes that works for me. Stupid computers...

So this afternoon, a guy came across the parking lot at Casino Del Sol and said "Hey are you Doug? Classless Class" . We did not know who is he was. He has stalked the forums for about 3 years. He went to Quartzsite in January of 2015, when Doug and I just came up for the day. He met several of you. His name is Dennis. He has been full-timing 7 whole days. They are coming over for a glass of wine in a bit. Who remembers meeting him. Tall guy from California.

Actually, my computer hard drive bit the dust. I haven't had the "real" one for almost a week. I've been in withdrawal mode. Thank goodness for the little substitutes.

Toni if you had said that tall "GOOD LOOKING" guy they would have remembered me. I was only able to be there for one day because a friend was going through Lake Havasu so we went back to meet them. I was the one with the toy hauler and I had the yellow dune buggy. Doug and Toni it was a pleasure talking with you guys, thanks for all the info, hope to meet up again.

We left California today. Our last week was boondocking just outside of Borrego Springs. Will be in Yuma for a week then up to Phoenix through the holidays. Plan to see y'all in the area while we are there.
