Also, I will be selling my tow vehicle. A 2022 Silver Ford F250 XLT Super Duty 6.7L diesel with extended cab and a long bed (8 ft.) with cap topper and spray-in bed liner. It has under 17,500 miles. Asking price of $59,500 is based upon market value, not book value. You will be as pleased and impressed with this rig combo as I am saddened by having to let them go due to medical issues. Thank you for your interest and consideration, ddrischell
  3. Overlanding Moab Utah in a travel trailer has been a great experience. Our smaller Nash travel trailer has allowed us to find some smaller dispersed camping locations. In this episode, our digital nomad lifestyle takes us to a new free camping location just south of Moab Utah. This camping spot is tricky to get to. Starting at the lower main boondocking area where all the larger RVs are we head up the hill. This camp requires us to back down a steep hill, through a ditch, and on an off-camber section. Video might not do justice but this Overlanding camp spot was a tough one.

    Moab Utah

In this travel day to Moab Utah, RVing full-time with our new smaller travel trailer brings us to a remote off-grid boondocking spot. Free camping with a small trailer is the reason we downsized! We have been to Moab Utah many years ago to travel the White Rim Trail. This time we plan on spending a few weeks in the area. With our new travel trailer we plan on getting to more remote or Overlanding type boondocking locations.Taking our travel trailer offroad to this dispersed camping spot is a little more stressful than we thought. Thansk for watching.
  5. Good evening, I purchased my first camper trailer (2021 coachmen clipper 12.0 TD XL Off-road) and will primarily be using it for boondocking. While I’ll be using solar for the most part to power small things such as lights or the stereo I know that once it gets hot I’ll need to use my AC. The camper has a 5,000 btu AC unit in it and my mind is spinning trying to figure out what size of inverter generator I should be looking into. Honda and Yamaha are running to the front but I have no idea how big I really need to go. Any advise? Thank you all!! Edited for spelling errors
  6. Saguaro National Park Travel Vlog! Located just outside Tucson Arizona, Saguaro National Park is a massive 92,000 acre National Park spread out at two separate locations. This park has a lot to offer. On black Friday we decide to get out of the RV and leave our boondocking spot. We take a day trip to Saguaro National Park. Starting the day off with a drive around the Cactus Forest scenic loop. Making a stop at Javelina Rocks to explore a little more. This is what RV living is all about, our backyard changes every few weeks! Don't forget to subscribe.
  7. Just like the title says, we got kicked out of a National Forest! We had been RV boondocking in Southern California when a forest ranger arrived and told us to leave! In this video, we describe how we were approached while boondocking. Free camping is an awesome way to get outside but sometimes unexpected things can happen. Due to some recent fires in Southern California, the state closed a few National Forests for safety reasons. Unfortunately, we were boondocking in one of them! This is what we encountered while boondocking in California in our fifth wheel. Please make sure you subscribe! https://youtu.be/QHyCJCsLMGY
  8. This travel vlog has a little bit of everything. RVing in a dispersed camping area often brings unwanted critters. We finally catch a mouse in our fifth wheel and have an eventful travel day. The day starts off with an unwanted mouse in our fifth wheel. We try to keep a clean and secure house but they still find a way in. Then it's time to move on, stopping at an RV dump station along the way. We provide some tips when dumping your RV and filling your freshwater. Picking a VERY remote RV boondocking location might have been a bad idea, when we arrive the spot is taken! We hope you enjoy the video. Please don't forget to SUBSCRIBE!
  9. We've been searching high and low for the best method to brew a perfect cup of camping coffee while boondocking, without using any electricity whatsoever, and we've finally found it! No generator, no battery/inverter use, and cleanup is a breeze using little to no water:
  10. This is RV living on our Adventure Endeavor! Travel days are typically a fun day, but moving can be a bit stressful unless you plan ahead. We try to scout out camp locations, dump stations and cell signal. Planning is key to an easy RV moving day. Traveling is a lot of fun but certain parts can be stressful, so we try to skip the stress and do a little advanced homework when possible. This includes scouting out our new potential camp location. Check the road conditions, entries, and exits in boondocking locations. Make sure there is an easy(ish) plan for dumping and filling the rig. And of course check the cellular signals before arriving with the whole rig! We hope you enjoy this video and get some great value out of it! Don't forget to subscribe!
  11. This video we cover everything about Kernville California, from hiking, mountain biking, fishing, rafting and even skiing. Great boondocking locations and great campgrounds as well. We have been going to the Kern River Valley/Lake Isabella area for a long time now, it's the gateway to the southern sierra's! While we were in Kern for Whiskey Flat Days we decided to share our knowledge of the area and take you on a tour. This area is an outdoor paradise with year round activities. Whiskey Flat Days is one of the most popular festivals in Southern California. This festival takes place in Kernville (Formerly Whiskey Flats), Where the town is taken over with vendors, carnival, rodeo, a parade and even a wild west encampment. Hope you enjoy the video and do not forget to SUBSCRIBE!
  12. https://youtu.be/47v1vmdX8vI Best views you will ever find for Free! Good roads and very remote!!! Check it out!!
  13. In this video, we show you some of our highlights from King Of The Hammers 2020 and take you along as we spend the day spectating at various locations. King of The Hammers 2020 is an offroad race that combines rock crawling and desert racing. They have multiple races throughout the week, UTV's, dirt bikes, trophy trucks, every man challenge (lower budget & car limitations) and the main event King of the Hammers. The racers can get up to 100 mph in the open desert and they are also built to crawl the rock sections at high speeds. We started spectating this race around 2009, we have had a great time every year. To keep it safe for spectators they have taped off certain areas, we do our best to get as much footage as possible. Considering that we live in our trailer full-time and Melissa couldn't make this trip I left the trailer with her, ill show you my new RV! Hope you enjoy this video!
  14. On our way to meet up with some fellow Xscapers we stop off at Truck Haven for some shut eye. The next day we find some free camping near Yuma Arizona, American Girl Mine to be exact. RVing is more fun with friends! A few weeks ago we met Jill and Curt at the Xscapers annual bash. Instantly being connected through off roading, they invited us down to boondock near American Girl Mine just north west of Yuma Arizona. Over the the next few days we did some exploring, off roading and smoked some delicious meats together. We also go to the valley of the names and drive to the bottom of American Girl mine, this is a fun one! Hope you enjoy!
  15. Continuing to explore the open desert we head over to Burro Schmidt Tunnel in the Mojave Desert. Carved all by hand taking over 33 years, this tunnel goes all the way through a mountain. We enter the tunnel and show you what it's like on the inside and all the way through. On this adventure I have gotten pretty good at crashing our drone and Melissa finds a unique use for the GoPro. After spending a good amount of time exploring around the tunnel we cut back across the desert. Attempting to find another mine but the road conditions wouldn't cooperate.
  16. It's finally here, winter wonderland snow camping In California. This past Thanksgiving we went out desert camping with friends. We didn't realize a huge winter storm was rolling in to Southern California. That didn't stop the fun, this video has all sorts of off roading, prerunning, delicious meats and snow mageddon! It was unexpected but we had a great time and made the best of it. This is a memory with friends that we will never forget.
  17. We are in Barstow California for the annual desert clean up and prerunning! this is an amazing event where overlanders, campers and outdoor enthusiasts get together and clean a local desert. It's a great event, the desert community gets together with many sponsors. They provide, all the cleaning supplies, dumpsters, t-shirts and event a huge raffle. We went out with the toy hauler, filled the truck with trash and watched some trucks jump. Hopefully this catches on!
  18. This video is action packed! RV Living at it's finest, boondocking with friends, beautiful California desert and Prerunning. There's a little bit of everything in this one. We even break our truck! This video is about our journey to meet up with friends at their annual desert trip, Desert Palooza 2019. This event has been going strong for 15 years, out in Jawbone Canyon CA. Along with all of that we show your one of our tips for fueling up with a large rig, give a few more details on our Grill that so many people keep asking about and of course we take you along for the ride while we go desert prerunning. Hope you enjoy the video!
  19. Come along as we explore a few different areas along the 395 HWY in California. Rv living allows us the freedom to travel where ever our hearts, by simply following the weather and maintaining a strong cellular signal. While camping north of Bishop California we head into town to explore there small shops and grab some coffee. The following day we wake up pretty early to make the trek north up the 395 to Ruby Lake Trail Head. The hike ends up being a perfect day hike in an extremely beautiful area. On our drive back to camp/home we decide to hitch up and head south back to Fossil Falls for the night. They have a small campsite that is VERY primitive, but only $6 a night.
  20. We go through our process to finding a free camping. We have been doing this for many years, so for us this seems like a simple thing but we realize there is a lot of information out there. From selecting your state and region. To different land use, apps, and websites that can help you along the way. The point of this video is so that you can learn the process, learn the rules of the land you are camping on and also learn potential hazards/dangers that you could run into. Like driving a 38 foot Toy hauler down a dirt road! Hopefully this brings a good amount of value to you. Thanks for watching!
  21. For those of you towing fifth wheels, especially during overnight stops, do you run your genny in the truck bed while remaining hooked? I'm planning on storing them in the front of the truck bed, and running them from there when necessary, but have concerns about CO emissions. Anyone do it, and what, if any, precautions do you take? Thanks for any responses.
  22. Balloon Fiesta HOP (Head Out Program) Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Option #1: October 2 - 7, 2020 Option #2 October 7 - 11, 2020 Option #3: Oct. 2 - 11, 2020 Balloons, balloons and more balloons! If this world premiere event is on your bucket list, join the Escapees RV Club HOP for the annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Each morning, as dawn breaks over the Sandia Mountains, the skies will fill with 600 bright, beautiful hot-air balloons from all over the world. From its beginnings in 1972, the Balloon Fiesta has grown into the largest International Balloon Fiesta, with a 365-acre Balloon Fiesta Park and a launch field the size of 54 football fields (78 acres). It is the most photographed hot-air balloon festival in the world, with 886,307 attendees in 2019. The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is the only Balloon Fiesta where the "box effect" comes into play. The "box effect" is a unique wind pattern that helps pilots navigate their balloons in a vertical, rectangular path; allowing them to return to the launch field, or even landing next to your RV. The Dawn Patrol lifts off in the dark, with specially-fitted lights, to observe weather conditions at different altitudes, such as the wind speed and its direction. Upon approval, the balloons lift off in a mass ascension. The "Zebras," dressed in black and white, are the ones who coordinate the launching of the balloons. One of the most exciting events is the Flight of the Nations Mass Ascension, where balloonists wave their national flag during the launch. Even though there are always traditionally-shaped balloons, there will be various specialty shapes, too, and some of the most popular are the cow, sun, pig, stagecoach, clock, skunk, the Ladybug and the sweetest mother, daddy and baby bumblebees. The bumblebee's hands have Velcro, so when they touch in midair, it appears they are holding hands. When visiting any of the balloon pilots, remember to ask them for one of the trading cards, which will explain all the pertinent information about their balloon. This fiesta also hosts the Gas Balloons – America’s Challenge race, with the winner being the one that has traveled the farthest. Past gas balloons have gone as far as the East Coast and across Canada. You can track their progress on the Fiesta website. At dusk, you can see the Twilight Glow on the launch field. This is when the burners are ignited, filling the balloons with a bouquet of bright colors. Then, the nights will finish with an extraordinary display of fireworks. Escapees will have Boondocking, “rally style” parking and a private tent for inclement weather, socials, games and catered meals. There will be a considerable amount of walking, so please bring comfortable walking shoes, as well as binoculars and a camera to capture those once-in-a-lifetime special moments. Early arrival - Options 1 and 3 Due to the popularity of this event, we recommend early arrival for parking at the HOP location for Options 1 and 3 only. Early arrival is September 29, 2020. 23. Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest is quite amazing, lot's of sage brush and rolling hills. We stop here for a quick night , the higher elevation helps with the extreme summer heat. In the morning we bring the drone up real quick just to take a look around. After 6 months we are finally back in California it's a strange feeling, it's the longest we have ever been away from California and our home town of Simi Valley. We find a great boondocking spot inside Inyo National forest just a 10 minute drive from Mammoth Lakes CA. While we are there for only a week, we get a bit too relaxed with our water supply and end up running out! Hope you enjoy this video!
  24. Boondocking outside Grand Teton National Park has its perks! We have a meet up with multiple full-time families, at the same time we make new friends that happen to be new to full-timing. Ryan and Jeff sold everything in Arizona, bought trailers and moved up to Wyoming to be river float guides on the Snake River. We also reconnect with Kyle Nugent, a full-timer that we met in Maine roughly 2 months earlier! He is traveling the country hitting one baseball field at a time. We happened to stay in touch, told him we would be in the area and he came by! Kyle is an avid fly fisherman and he decided to give me some lessons, but I was only interested in flying the drone! This video is a great one, make sure you watch till the end! ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️Hit that subscribe and like button⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ https://www.youtube.com/c/adventureen...
  25. We take the journey from Deadwood South Dakota to Wyoming just outside Grand Teton National Park. The drive is quite long and when we arrive we are super tired. While looking for a good camping spot with decent cell phone service, we go down a road we shouldn't have been on with our 5th wheel. Getting out of this area requires a steep uphill rutted road and four wheel drive! The following day I drive into town and reflect on the great dirt road driveways we have had lately! We head over a near by camp to meet some other RVers that we were in touch with on Instagram. This area is absolutely beautiful and might be my favorite place in the country. We are looking forward to exploring the area for the next week! Hope you enjoy the video! ***Feel free to subscribe and hit that like button!*** https://www.youtube.com/c/adventureen...
