I'm newly retired, solo female with an itch to hit the road and see more of this diverse country while I'm still "young and able". I have a home in So Cal that will be my base, and I'm looking to spend weeks to months at a time exploring, including seriously considering work camping.

I'm a lifetime camper, from primitive to RVing. Most of my vacations growing up were some form of camping. I've pulled a tent trailer a few times, and have spent several motorhome vacations with sis & bro-in-law, but I've never been the captain of my own rig - and that prospect is both exciting and daunting!

Last summer I acquired a Wildwood XLite T20RBXL travel trailer, and took the next 8 months to settle upon a tow vehicle. Now fully outfitted, I will soon be heading for the summer season work/camping at the foot of the Tetons.

This is an exciting time of life! I'm looking forward to learning lots, making new friends and enjoying the ride!
