  1. I engineered my deck. If you take a second to think, you'll realize the maximum load per tire is very small per square inch. My deck was designed for a 3k pound vehicle @ 150% safety factor. It is all 12ga cold rolled steel. Cross members, deck, sides, fenders, all of it.
  2. I just can't understand why there's no replacement for whats probably the most popular truck on the road; Freightliner Cascadia
  3. A very well earned THANK YOU to the Walker's and Wagner's for their hospitality (southern) as well as all the presenters for sharing their knowledge. Was nice to put faces to names. Regards -Steve Kay
  4. Must be a relatively minor leak. As indicated by Jack, 10-15 pumps is nothing. Standard service on my Detroit is a recommended 220 pumps after replacing the secondary fuel filter or until you feel resistance.
  5. Yeah, I was pretty shocked at the price... Then I had my Cessna (172) repainted. Now the trailer seems quite reasonable.
  6. As always, great real world insight beyerjf.
  7. 12+ w/ DD16 @63-65 mph
  8. https://www.newyorkpass.com/En/new-york-attractions/ This could ease the pain a little bit
  9. To put it in perspective, its $30/day to park a car in NYC, after you pay the $15 toll (round trip) to get into the city
  10. For reference, who is the maker of the pump with the poor quality valve?
  11. As stated, all about YOUR bony or padded butt and back. It'll be different for your wife as well. For me...Knoedler Grand chief or Recaro, but that has nothing to do with your choice.
  12. Fuel leak. Check the filter/separator. The cold weather raising the durometer of o-rings usually requires a little tightening of things. Sounds like you're just losing pressure overnight.
  13. OK, I was comparing no deck tandem vs the usual singling + deck conversion. I'm a little slow today
  14. Jack, I can't see how spending 15-20K on a bed will ever be less than the cost of leaving the truck tandem with the miles an RV'er will travel. Am I missing something?
