  1. The rear of the truck is two bunk beds in fine condition. There is no table, however. The rear door opens directly onto the bottom bunk. It is lockable. It was put in for me as a dog entrance and used that way for over a year. Then we decided we wanted a car with us, so we got a station wagon which my wife drove while I drove the truck. It was easier to put the dogs in the wagon than in the truck, so that's what we did thereafter. The door was still useful, however. With the door opened, I could back the truck and hook up without any one spotting for me. I also used it when we wanted to carry anything sizeable inside the truck, Lifting the object onto the rear platform and putting it in through the door was a lot easier than trying to fit something through the regular side doors. I hope that helps.
  2. Still available. Still the best bargain you will find, from what I've seen.
  3. Yes, but three people have said they are going to come to Florida in the next few weeks to see it.
  4. Thank you, Blue. That's very much appreciated.
  5. Nope, not yet sold. Sorry for the tardy response. I've been out of action for the last few days. For those wanting pictures, BlueLghtning has posted them for me on the HDT forum in the "Volvo 780 - $29,000" thread.
  6. The door in the rear of the cab is an access to the cab. Our greyhounds were too heavy for me to lift into the cab, so I had the rear platform and the door built. A year or so later, we decided to bring our station wagon along with us when we traveled. My wife drove it and I drove the truck. The dogs now travel in the wagon, usually asleep. We then used the inside rear of the cab as a storage area, with the door providing easy access for things like my wife's sound equipment. (She's a professional singer.)
  7. Moisheh, following Escapees' advice, I spelled out "@" as "at". (It's a way to prevent automated hacker programs from getting your email address. I did a similar thing by spelling out my area code instead of displaying the actual numerals).
  8. AV, nope it's correct. I've already received two emails in reply to my post. Note that there is a dot between my first and last names, and another between "rcn" and "com". Also, following the advice on the Escapees' site, I used "at" in place of "@". To send an email to me, substitute "@" where "at" appears. Or call me. My number is included, but replace the words "six one seven" with the actual numbers. (Another Escapees' suggestion.)
  9. AV - two pedal fully automatic, or change to manual shifting when you need it. HomeAutom8r - I'll try to post pix. In the meantime, email me and I'll send pix to you.
