  1. We vote for Logan's! How about 3:00 Sunday?
  2. OOooo... Maybe get together Sunday? We need to leave AJ no later than Monday, cause Nancy has a dentist apptment in Tucson on Tuesday (Dec 3). We're planning to hang out in Tucson for about a month.
  3. Well we just moved down from Prescott to Apache Junction. Staying at the Elks for a week. Looks like Jeri & Terry & Jim and Sandie are in the area, so we are imagining a getting together...
  4. Well we left Moab, went to Goosenecks State Park for a couple of nights (drove Valley of the Gods again and went up the Moki Dugway and out to Muley Point again - totally wonderful, even the third time!), and are now driveway camping at a friend's place in Prescott. This is our project stop. I just replaced the old resonator on the Cummins (totally clogged with soot) with a new Aero 5050XL, and now we have the authoritative, throaty sound that we all love (What, you don't? Ear plugs are cheap...). Next, some maintenance on the generator. Well actually next (today) is a trip up to Jerome with some RVing buddies. Lunch at the Haunted Hamburger, and then the Gold King Mine, which is actually a very interesting (for guys) collection of old machinery. (Guys, gotta see it if you haven't!) Then the generator. I'm helping our friend here with lots of little projects, so it's a good exchange. Nancy is hanging out a lot with a good friend here, getting into all sorts of trouble, having a good time too. And some time later, we'll be heading to Apache Junction to visit some friends, and then probably down to Tucson for a bit, followed by Q.
  5. tdhomestead, steve44, and shadowtracks all had a planning meeting at OK RV Park in Moab yesterday, followed by the official meeting at the Moab Brewery Both meetings were sucessful but meeting minutes have been classified, pending review by the flux capacitor homologation committee.
  6. By the time you get to Moab, looks like most of the national parks in Utah will be open again (just read on the news that Utah is financing 10 days of operation for US dept of the interior.)
  7. We will be in Q, but probably not in Yuma. We vote for an early start in Q on the 16th
  8. Utah State Parks just announced that they will honor the Annual Federal park pass, which will really help all those people who bought one and are now screwed. I hope that means they will honor our OldFartsPass also!
  9. Well, we closed the Gros Ventre campground in Grand Teton NP a day ahead of sched (thanks to DC morons) and left yesterday, heading down to Moab for a while. Now in Provo. Feels really good to be in the road again, even if we won't be able to visit Arches and Canyonlands. Just catching up on the forum. - Steve44 & Carol - when will you guys be down in Moab? We'll be staying at the OK RV park south of town for a week, and then maybe boondocking somewhere. Is there a Class of get together location for Q yet (assuming there is still a Q...)?
  10. Absolutely great to see Delcie and Freddie again! And we're really liking our campsite. And that's a good thing, 'cause Nancy is off to a watercolor class for 10 days north of Durango, and I'll be able to get into trouble all by myself for a while (actually Freddie wants to get into electrical trouble on their rig, so I'll have help .)
  11. We'll probably see you in CO this summer ! We're currently in Prescott, driveway camping at a friend's place, doing projects on both his trailer and our rig. Heading up and over into CO at some point (Jello is jiggling...) Sounds like lots of folks are going to be in CO this summer, so go easy on the water .
  12. Good idea (warning...) We're in #315, or at least I am. Nancy is up in Tucson taking a watercolor painting class and will be back tomorrow evening, just in time for Lady's Night Out, but I'll be around and may stop by tomorrow if the weather isn't too crappy. Looking like a good day to hunker down, though.
  13. Howdy! We're back in Benson, after being stuck in Nacogdoches (TX) for 3 months, getting the rig painted, adding stuff, fixing stuff. Great to be able to move again, though. we'll be here until at least Mar 15th, since we have annual doctor & dentist appointments in Tucson. Great to be back in dry country again. Nacogdoches was rainy a lot of the time.
  14. We expect to get the itch again soon too, but we're in Nacogdoches, TX until at least the first or 2nd week in Jan, getting our coach painted. Full body paint, paint the roof, new headlights, etc. Won't be able to recognize our rig when they get all done. We've moved out of the rig into an efficiency apartment that the company (Xtreme Paint and Graphics) provides at no cost, so we're quite comfortable, but it's pretty weird being totally out of the coach. This town has a lot of activities (Xmas season), and we have friends in the area (and Nancy is finding us new friends every day...), so no danger of boredom. Don't think we will get to Q this year, though.
