    • Actually cleaned all last weekend and have driven since then,  found F15 fuse blown, replaced and now have most power back, turn key and no start, relay clicks when key is turned to start, I'm getting all dashes on dash cluster, no lights on shifter
    • Which is also why the wet bolt bushings used on a 5'er leaf spring suspension still wear out so quickly - forget about the plastic things that come OEM.  Lippert came out with composite bushings (Never Fail) a few years back to replace the bronze.  Kinda pricey but I bought a set.  Much to my amazement they looked like new when I checked a few weeks back (6,000 miles of use) and they require no greasing.  If you have a Volvo or other HDT with leaf springs on the front there is a similar problem with the front spring eye bolts.  To help counteract the egg wear problem Volvo wants us to grease those points with the front wheels off the ground.  Henry showed us a new bushing for the ET at the ECR a couple of years back using the TrailerSaver bushing wear issue as an example.  I still remember...... amazing! (not just the bushing - remembering the presentation is also amazing.)
    • I'm going to ask the stupid question, but did you just clean the batteries???  It really helps to go back to the last thing you did, or had someone else do, and see what was missed. If you just cleaned them yourself and detached all the cables, it sounds like you possibly missed attaching one of the small wires. Just a thought.
    • Larry, if you look at the pin numbers on the Jackalopee board [ in parenthesis ] you'll see that it matches the pin numbers on the Bargman plug and the colors of the wires match RV standard Stan Wright posted above. Note in Stan's post that there is also this "other standard" for utility and cargo trailers where they utilize the yellow wire for the left turn, somehow they migrated this from the DOT Truck standard where the left turn is indeed the yellow wire. In RVs yellow goes to the center pin number 7 and connects to Reverse, There is no reverse in the truck DOT plug, so you have to "steal it" and bring into the Jackalopee from the rear bobtail panel and that flat plug I talked about few posts back.
    • We do live next door to each other 3 months out of the year (Wickham).  Maybe we can get it done this winter if you are still "working on it"
