    • Recall linky "The recall includes two models of generators, the Honda EB2800i and the Honda EG2800i." I had to go check after you said that, had not heard it.  It does not cover the 2200i so we lucked out.
    • We have 3:73's in our '15 RAM, gets around 18 mpg around town and about 9 mpg on the highway towing our Suites.  We weigh in at 27k to 28k depending on the amount of "stuff" we have with us.  The '15 has the HO Cummins and Aisin, it does a fantastic job towing up as well as down grades!   LOVE that EB!   Our '06 RAM had 3:73's in it and when we still had the Montana which was significantly less than the Suites, it pulled great!  The newer pick ups are awesome and rated for a whole lot more than the older models.   IMHO you'll do great with either choice, 3:73's or 4:10's, 4:10's do give you more towing capacity.   Dan
    • Wed been thinking about that for a while.  I hate to take on another payment, but we just paid off a couple bills,  so its in the budget if we find something used and small enough for our truck.
    • I'd say that the answer is yes.  We started with something just a big bigger than that, and frankly I didn't think we'd care enough for it to stick with it. We bought used and the idea was that if we didn't like it we'd sell it off and move on. We spent a lot of time camping in that trailer over the next 18 months. I learned how to fix a lot of things that are typical on an inexpensive RV, and we eventually moved up knowing a great deal more than we did when we'd started. I think it is the sensible way to go. As I said previously the odds of getting it right the first time (with regards to your RV) are slim. So you might as well try is with something inexpensive and figure it out as you go. If you could find a clean used unit you could save a lot of money as well.
    • Howdy Rocky, Thank you, a blessing sure won’t do any harm and just might make this situation better.  I have spent time in Baja and didn’t have any problem’s but I wasn’t surrounded by mobs of people all clamoring and pushing themselves on me.   I don’t have all the required paperwork to bring Newt with me so I just need to put my mind in the right place before we go, it would be so much better if I could have Newt with me.
