    • No, they are too big to have just sitting around unused.  We plan for the trips when we need it, and for the ones we don't.  It's always possible to recharge from the tow vehicle, or even find an outdoor outlet somewhere for a while.  The only time I've wished I had it but didn't was when a battery developed a shorted cell.  That's once in decades.  If I didn't use the generator in a year, it would be gone, which is exactly what I did during the years where we always had shore power.  Now we're in the boonies a lot more, bought another since we use it.
    • Agreed. I have 2 Honda 2000s and have never used them. I bought them on an Affirm no interest loan. 12 equal payments.  but I have them if I need them.
    • The GL.iNet is what I would have bought if I didn't already have the Pepwave on hand...
    • A short sleeper truck mid roof is very manuvable as a daily driver. Same footprint as a dually. Jack Myer did this for nearly a decade. Will turn inside the circle of any dually. One can remove bed and install seats if needed. All we are saying don't rule out an HDT and get less toyhauler than you want.
    • They should be number 1.  I used to look at companies THOR owns but have seen and read about too many problems each of those brands developed after their brands motto was changed to quantity, not quality, ie bottom dollar in their pocket.  This is MY opinion when spending my $$, I'm sure many will disagree with me but it's your $$, not mine, buy what makes you happy.  I don't follow or believe any magazines one sided opinion, I do my own research but I stand by what is my #1 DO NOT BUY list.3 Also, note, my research only covers 5th wheel RVs, not motor homes of any size/class.  I have no experience or thoughts on those.
